Dad Matters in Surrey
Dad Matters’ vision is to help dads-to-be and dads with babies have successful relationships with their families, and to support dads suffering anxiety, stress, and/or mental health issues. We provide support in 1:1 and in groups, making sure dads know how important they are, how to access support when they need it, and why it’s essential for baby’s development. Whether you just want some bonding tips or need ongoing support, we want to help.
We also work directly with services that support Dads, families and especially babies to increase engagement and knowledge across the sector, and we train and support volunteer Dads to work with us to help other Dads. Please get in touch if you’re interested in becoming a Dad Champion.
This project is currently operating in Elmbridge, Epsom, Ewell & Banstead, and Runnymede & Woking. We are currently rolling it out to other Home-Start Surrey schemes in 2025. Please get in touch to see what support we can provide, to access a New Dads workshop and online content, or to arrange support from your local Home-Start branch.
