As I have turned 50 this year, I have set my self a double challenge- Tri Reigate on 8 September, my first triathlon and the Run Reigate half marathon on 22 September… after a couple of years with running injuries this will be an important milestone! I have persuaded my husband, friends and family to join in too!!

All money raised will be donated to Homestart, for whom I have been a volunteer since January 2024.

It’s my first time running Run Reigate, and I’m doing a 10K for the first time in a sponsored run. I’ve only ever done 5K prior to this.

I’m excited about the challenge, and I’ve been keeping up with training as best I can. A highlight has been running around Schiphol airport in Amsterdam whilst staying there for work!

I am returning to the UK in September from Canada to visit family and friends.

I’m excited to have the opportunity to run the 10k with my Nephew James for this very worthy cause.

I am currently training for my seventh marathon in Moncton, New Brunswick in October. I hope to get a Boston Marathon qualifying time.

The training is going well and it will be nice to get a few more miles under my belt and enjoy the atmosphere in Reigate.

I’m hoping to run the half marathon. I’m a regular runner and love running on trails but I’ve had a few health issues recently so haven’t been running as much as I’d like. I’m fairly sure I’ll get round even if I have to walk bits! I have done Run Reigate before but this run is going to more about doing it for a good cause than getting a good time.
